This is a place to check out some great, but simple activities to do with your students at home. Here, activities are grouped by subject area. Feel free to try these at home to help your student practice the skills that he or she is learning at school! Math

• Skip count by two's, five's, and ten's while walking up the stairs.

ELA

• We all know that reading is important. Click here to see the effectiveness of reading for 20 minutes a day.
• Write your spelling words in the sand/dirt, or write them in shaving cream on the table/counter (This makes your house smell nice and clean too!).

• While outside, trace your shadow with sidewalk chalk.
