I was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. I have a younger sister who works in Atlanta as well. Since I was little, my mother always told me I would grow up and be a teacher. Look what happened! I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2008. Since then, I taught first in Cobb for a year, Pre- Kindergarten for 3 years in Smyrna, Georgia, and last year I taught first grade here at Dunwoody Springs. We have an amazing first grade team here! I am so happy to be a part of it again this year!
I am happily married and have one son, Tate (he is 2.5 years old). I also have one son on the way! I am expecting our new baby, Troy, on December 5th, 2013. When I have him… have no worries, we will find a fantastic substitute for the time being. I also have 3 dogs. I am a HUGE dog lover!! I have a Yorkie named Bo, a Lab/Border Collie Mix named Cole, and an American Bulldog named Georgia.
